About Us

There is no medicine like hope. No incentive so great and no tonic so powerful as the expectation of something better tomorrow. – Orison Swett Marden

TLCs Are Here To Help

By vision and design, The Villages are filled with energetic, friendly, fun-loving people. However, many normal life occurrences happen which can be stressful, painful and devastating. Loss issues abound as persons lose their good health, financial security, purpose and meaning and partners/spouses through death. Many bear the burden of becoming 24/7 caregivers. Many turn to drugs/alcohol trying to cope with painful circumstances. The coping skills of others are stretched as they deal with addicted partners, alienated adult children or adjusting to being with their spouses on a 24/7 basis. Still others suffer from loneliness, depression, anxiety or other emotional disorders. TLCs can and do help.

TLC Services began in April, 2017. Since then TLCs have served over 10,000 people.

TLC Services is a Nonprofit Organization

Services provided by TLC Services, Inc., are free. We do, however, ask for a small donation per session to cover our expenses (phone, printing, supplies).

We are Service Partners of United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties. United Way pays for TLC’s background checks and insurance and this enables all clinical professionals to get Florida licenses for free.
